There are so many people that deserve thanking, but I would like to extend a formal thank you to everyone at Change Realty, to the Portland Business Journal, and to our hundreds of clients.
While I’m so grateful to have received this honor, I can’t help but look at it as inevitable. After all, at the heart of Change Realty is a great team and a great mission that just works.

When I founded Change Realty in 2009, I set out to create a residential brokerage firm unlike any other. Above all, I wanted to put the homeowner, whether buying or selling, first. I noticed that other brokerage firms charged an arm and a leg to list homes. This struck me as completely backward. Listing a home shouldn’t cost a homeowner a 6% or even a 5% real estate commission. It’s the simplest part of the process!
No. It’s the job of a brokerage firm to make it easy as possible to list a home. Once a home is sold, then more business can enter the picture. Until then, it’s a matter of helping homeowners get their properties out there and under the care of a reputable real estate firm.
One of the most important parts of any listing are photos. Having the right photos of a given property are key to giving potential buyers a literal snapshot of the property of their dreams. That’s why Change Realty sends out a professional photographer to every home that lists with us to get the best quality photos possible.
Once a home is listed (with gorgeous photos) we promise to serve a homeowner to the best of our ability. Given that our agents all of thorough area of the Portland-Vancouver Metro Area, we can even you find your next property–be it a residence or an investment.
